I'm 18 weeks pregnant and I am an RN on a med-surg floor. I had some titers drawn for a new job I start in July...the QFT came back positive. They want to recheck it tomorrow morning because the NP said the number that they really focus on - the number that tells how long exposure was - was low. How common are false positives? And FYI I haven't worked around any active TB patients that I KNOW of. TIA!
