Hello All!
I'm posting to request tips and suggestions for my upcoming student preceptorship experience.
I think I'm pretty well-versed on how to orient to a new job, and pretty well versed on nurse-colleague interactions.
I'm going to start my preceptorship in my dream unit on nocs, I just wonder what I should expect/ be prepared for.
I've already received some suggestions, such as don't sit back like a wall-flower, but try to get involved.
I've also been told to be prepared to move fast! (I'll be precepting nocs in the ED)
My wonderful AN peeps, do you have more sound suggestions for me?
Thank you in advance!
Yppah

Ask questions, lots of questions. Be very humble as a student, in other words, don't act like a "know it all." If you are planning on applying for a job at the facility, remember this is your new grad interview. Best of luck to you!!!!
Thank you Yppah! Yes! An 96 hour long interview is how I see it!
