I am looking for a way to take the pre reqs fro nursing school online, i need at least pre algebra, high school biology high school chem, never took them in high school.
I would suggest only taking classes you feel comfortable with online. I have taken several and did well in all of them but algebra which I dropped. I hate algebra!!! Remember with online classes you are usually teaching yourself, and there is no one to answer your questions. At best you can email a question and wait for an answer.
Also it sounds as if you haven't enrolled in a college yet. If this is the case I would do that first. Most colleges, and CC's give you a test when you register that gives them an idea of where you are in regards to all the basic subjects. You might need to take a remedial course prior to the college level (since you didn't have it in high school). I had to take remedial Algebra.
I took mine through the Dallas County Community College district. You cannot take all of your classes online even if you want to (or at least I couldn't) as they do not offer all of them. Some of the classes required a lab which could not be done online, and some they just don't offer.
Not sure if other schools somewhere else might offer them.
