pre-reqs

what pre reqs does every have left to take?

I have A&P 1 and 2, microbiology, nutrition, chemistry, pathophysiology, and statistics. I'm a bit nervous since I know these will be the courses that I'll have to put extra effort into which will be a challenge itself along with taking care of my son who is turning a year old this month....oh the joys of (hopefully) going back to school with a toddler underfoot

has anyone taken any of the above classes yet?

I'm taking A&P1 and Nutrition starting in January, then all I'll have left is A&P2 since they just cut Micro out of our program! For A&P1 I got some study guides on Amazon to help break things down. I got the Cliffnotes Human Anatomy and Physiology and Schaum's Anatomy & Physiology outline. I've started looking both over already to get a head start :) :heartbeat

My friend Kim has a two year old and she just started her pre-reqs this semester. She said it was hard at first balancing studying and homework with everything else but she's doing great! I'm sure you'll do great too :)

Atm, I'm taking anatomy and chemistry I. Next semester, it's psych, chem II, cell bio. I'm also taking some liberal arts- history, english, and art.

Next year, micro biology, physiology, more psych, sociology, nutrition. Plus I start my actual nursing classes next year :)

I have to take A & P 1 and 2, Microbiology, Eng 102, and basic Biology. I have a 6 year old and I work full time during the day, it is hard to balance everything but where there is a will there is a way, right?!

I have Mircrobiology (winter '09), A&P 1 &2, and Nutrition left to do.

I can empathize with you a bit---I have 2 sons, one of whom just turned 4 and the other is 22 months old. Oh, and my husband travels for work. EEK!

I have A&P I and II, Microbiology, and Developmental Psychology left (I got most of the pre-reqs completed when I got my Bachelor's several years ago). Technically, to be admitted into the program, out of the above mentioned classes, I only need to have the A&Ps completed, but because I want to focus on the nursing curriculum once admitted, I'm getting the others done, too.

I'm on my first term of pre-reqs, but starting August 23rd, I'll just have to take Medical Terminology, Psychology, and Anatomy & Physiology and then I'll be done with these dreadful pre-reqs!

Psych,Eng 1, History, A&P, Medical Terminology, Chemistry, just way to many lol

I'm taking anatomy, sociology, and life-span psychology (if they let me add!!) next semester. After that I will only have physio left. =)

The nursing schools in my area don't require post-secondary prereqs... only certain high school courses. But I have already taken 24 credits just to get into university using my GPA instead of my high school average. I have completed the electives, English, psychology courses, and microbiology. I'm planning to take anatomy soon to lighten up my future course load even further. Seems never ending but I know it will pay off.
