Hi! Does anyone know the 6 pre-req classes that they use to calculate the GPA for the ADN program at Augusta Tech? Is Soc 1101 one of them? I have taken every class but wasnt able to get into the Soc 1101 class for spring semester.. Thanks!

Soc 1101 is not one of the classes used to calculate your GPA for entrance into the program, however it is a pre-req class. So you would need it before you are admitted into the program.

The six classes they look at for GPA are A&P I and II, Micro, College Algebra, Intro to Psych, and English 1101. I don't know about the remaining classes (including Soc), but I was under the impression they had to be completed by the transcript deadline as well. They should answer that in one of the info sessions.

Attend one of the information sessions being held at the school. They give you a huge packet and cover all the information needed to get into the program. Don't forget to ask about the student nurses association at the school. They provide clinics and contacts that will answer any and all questions you have about the program at Augusta Tech.
