Hey all,
I am currently waiting until September to start nursing school (SUPER excited by the way!) and I was wondering if there were any specific books I could purchase or look for at the library that would just give me a head start on studying. I know these 3 months are going to drag by so a couple books to keep me busy.
Thanks so much!
Cass.

Find out from your school what books they will be using....i would start reading from now..i mean what medical surgical book. also change with some students in that school who will just either finish fundamentals ...what chapters to read first.. and go from there. Saunders 5th edition is another must have thru out nursing school and after. all the best\

Having just finished my first year, my advice would be to ENJOY YOUR SUMMER! I know getting ahead sounds like a great idea, but read some books you enjoy instead. it will be a long time until you get a moment to do anything for yourself once school starts!

Hi, congratulations. I have recently graduated, and I know how excited you must be. A book that helped me out a lot and I recommend to get ahead is the "Electrolytes made Incredibly Easy". You'll need to know this from now on, so this will get you started. They have several other books (Incredibly Easy), but I feel this is one you can start now and do some good. The others if you feel you want them later. Good Luck!

Congratulations on getting in! I just graduated and I think the one thing a lot of my classmates struggled with was drugs. It was easy for me because I was a pharmacy tech before. If you just get a drug guide and start learning different drugs, uses, doses. I think that will make life easier! Good luck to you!!
