Retaking a&P and micro

      Take a&P 1 with micro, then a&p 2 the next semester

      Take only Micro and try to get an A to raise my GPA to 3.1 and be category 2

      Take A&P 1 then A&P2 the next semester, skipping Micro (using my C)

So I need to retake A&P and micro to get into the nursing program. I got a B in Anatomy and a C in Physiology and a C in Microbiology.

This was almost 10 years ago and I'm in my early 30s now with 2 kids and a husband. If I retake and get A's in all 3 plus do well in my TEAS (which I'm studying for now) then I'll more than likely get into the ASN program at my local state college.

My biggest concern is taking Micro and A&P 1 together as my last school separated Anatomy from Physiology? My prerequisite GPA is 2.94 and retaking these 3 and getting As will bring me up to a 3.5 which is category 1 in the application process.

Can I manage As with taking A&P and micro since I have taken them before?

Are you working right now? If not, that would be a pretty easy schedule in my opinion. Very manageable to get A's in both classes.

Can you take A&P1 with micro since you have a family? Those two classes together may be a challenge. I would recommend retaking all three and get As in all of them or taking A&P 1 and 2 and get As in those and leave micro as is because you're better off with 2 As and 1 C (not ideal but better than taking those two sciences together). Ultimately, if you think you can manage them then go for it but if it gets too much drop before you get a W on your transcript. Keep your grades up, and I hope it all works out for you.

If you have time, I'd take all 3 separate. Always try to get A's in those classes. Best if you can focus one at a time.

Plenty of people do it successfully, and some people can barely pass A&P with a C when it's their only class. Only you can decide what you can handle. :)

Update: I took Micro and a&p 1 together. They were similar actually and I got As
