Has anyone taken the CLEP for Chemistry?

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

I was wondering if anyone has taken the CLEP for Chemistry? If so, what did you use to study for it, how long did you study for, how hard was the test? Any advice?

Thanks so much!

there's some info on this thread: https://allnurses.com/forums/f125/clep-chemistry-151385.html

I took Chem in HS and that counted as my pre-req for Micro, but I think I'm going to CLEP it as well just to make sure I'm covered for all the programs I'm applying for. I've been in A&P very recently, and I'm finishing Micro now, so I don't think it should be too hard what with the chem reviews in both of those sciences.

Check with the nursing program you want to apply to if they'll accept CLEP chemistry. A lot of schools will not accept CLEP science or online science courses without labs.
