Hello all...and thank you for all the past support I've received! I have certainly come a long way in the last year since I started posting on here!
I know this is a personal choice, however, I would appreciate some feedback on my issue...
I'm a pre-nursing student, going to school full-time (wel, part-time this semester), and will be applying to the nursing program at the end of next semester...Fall '09.
My husband and I are thinking of starting a family, and we just had "the talk"...lol
Originally, the plan was to wait until I was done with nursing school and start trying then...
But then....I started planning my husbands birthday party...see...I'm 25, and hubby is turning 50 in April! Let me tell you...he's a VERY young, healthy 50!
We've been married 4yrs, and I've never felt this way before about parenthood...perhaps it's because I'm getting more spiritual..I dunno....
I'm a determined peron, which reflects in my grades...in addition I have thought this over....If we started "trying" in March/April, and I got pregant right away...that would still give me enough time to finish my last science (Physio) next semester..and then give me until 2013 to apply to the nursing program before my Anatomy (that i took in fall08) to expire...
If not...I'm still going to continue on my plan..
This is scary for me..I've I've been on bc for over 8yrs...but I'm excited..scared...nervous...I'm a very realistic person..and this just feels right!
What are everyones thoughts/ideas? I always hear that I'm so young, which is true...and I don't want a class that I can always repeat later, hinder me from this life experience!
Thank you again,
Samantha
