Pre nurse exam?

I am a CNA right now and thinking about getting into the RN program,,, Does the exam you take before you get into the program a pass/ fail test? if you fail it does that mean you wont get in the program?

Hello new_mom :)

First find out which pre-nursing exam your school requires. There are different ones like for example NLN, TEAS, NET,.......

Also find out what your school requires as "passing" for them. Different schools have different requirements. For example, in my school they only look at what percentile you scored in verbal ability and overal composite score. While others emphasize on the science or everything.

About failing it.....if that would be the test there is usually a grace period (a few months) before you can re-take it again. Also, find out how many times your schools allows it. My school changed it to only twice.
