In the heading, you have pre-med. Are you looking at becoming a doctor or nurse? Regardless, I say when you begin taking your clinical rotations, you will have a better understanding of the area that interests you most. In my cohort, there were two girls who thought for sure pediatrics was their specialty until they took the community health clinical. Now both are interested in community health.

I say research and gain experience in the area. Hospitals allow students to “shadow”. See about volunteering. This could also provide some good insight into which specialty is best for you.

Good luck!

Thanks :) nd i was talkin bout being a nurse

There is also pediatric oncology (cancer) .. that's quite a rewarding specialty but I am sure quite heart-breaking at times.
