I don't think a fast heart rate is enough for concern... I've always had a resting heart rate of 116 and I'm fine! Stop stressing:) If they have any questions I'm sure they'll contact you lol.
Thank you. that put me at ease a bit. this is just my dream job so anything that isn't perfect I'm freaking out. it's just weird though because my heart rate has ever been that high. I pray everything works out thank you for your encouragement. BTW did you ever have to do that kind of test?
When I got my physical done for school, they did check my blood pressure and pulse. Etc etc.. as they do at every drs appointment lol. She didn't seem concerned! And my school never mentioned it either. It's been about a month since handing in my medical papers.
You're heart rate is probably high because you're so nervous! Anxiety can effect heart rate, which is probably why mine has always been high. But, it's not a reason for your job to freak out. (not on its own) Not even close:) I'm sure your dr would have said something too if he thought your heart rate was a symptom or something lol
yeah this would be my first time ever having a heart rate that high. but it was very hot outside and in the office wasn't any better so I believe that's what caused it too. but hopefully everything goes well for me. Thank you for helping me

I was in full blown HTN and untreated when both my CNA jobs hired me. You should have nothing to worry about.

If they have any concerns they will usually contact you. What you can always do though is make an appointment with a GP and see if you need to get it handled. I found out I had high BP due to my pre employment screening, and went to the doctor where it was also high. Got on BP meds, and now they are totally happy. :)
Thanks guys for all of the help, I actually got the job for sure i got a call back saying i passed everything whoohooo. !!! and just to think I was freaking out about my heart rate and temperature. Thank you guys. Take care.

If you're nervous, on caffeine, stressed, just walked up a flight of stairs, sick or dehydrated, etc...this can all cause HR to go up and it isn't a sign of poor health or an inability to do your job. Well, maybe if you're sick or dehydrated, but you get my point.
I just read your latest post about getting the job. Congrats!!!
