Prairie View Spring 2014 Applicants

Anyone else applying to Prairie View for Spring 2014 semester? How far are you in the process? Just wanted to make a thread for us to support each other along the way. Good luck to all the applicants!

I bought mine in amazon, the book helps a lot because we have to pass the test with a 95% I believe.

Do you know if the book you bought is required by the CON? If so, I think I might get the 5th ed.

My friend got in last semester and they ask for the 5 th edition, however my other friend has another book. It depends of the professor that's why I bought the 4 edition because there are no many differences.

I would recommend start studying, especially if you don't like or are not good for conversions. The book is really good and has a lot of practices. Also, I am looking for a book for pathophysiology because it is a hectic class.

The 5 edition is like $80 and the 4 edition is only $7, and you don't know if we are going to use the 5 edition.

Thanks for the advice Moneca! I looked on amazon and the 5th ed. is about 30 dollars for paperback. So there is no difference between the 4th and 5th ed.? So sorry for all the questions. I just want to buy it once if I need it for school. Thanks again.

No worries... there are not difference between them. The 5 edition is expensive because is from this year. I would recommend to buy the 4 edition, I am using it and it is really good.

I did not buy the 5 edition because do not know if they are going to use the same next semester. I prefer to buy a cheap one that will prepare me for the test.
