Anyone out there applying to Prairie View for entrance in the Fall 2014 semester?! The deadline is soon approaching! How far along are you in the application process? Feel free to post any questions, comments, or concerns you may have. Good luck to all!

I thought the same thing too but turns out they accept people who are completely done first, people who were waitlisted, their students from main campus, and then lastly accept transfer students who are not completely done. But yeah you shouldn't really worry much, high chances are you can still get accepted without being done. But one difference between last semester and now is that they didn't send me a clinical application once I turned in everything for spring 2014 but they did for fall 2014.

Hey guys! I am also applying for the Fall 2014 program! I applied last semester and was placed on the waiting list because at the time I was still completing my Public Speaking and Computer class. My support GPA is 3.32, my overall GPA is 3.54, and I got a 88% overall on my HESI. I'm super nervous this time around being that this is my second time applying! I really hope we all get in! What is a support GPA? Does that mean the science GPA?

I know you're telling me not to worry, but I'm totally worrying now. I didn't think it mattered that I was still taking two class. :( Bummed!

My GPA isn't all that great. Currently it's overall: 3.36, science: 4.0. Hesi over all: 92%

And I'm a transfer from HCC. :/

yes the support gpa includes a&p 1 and 2, chemistry, microbiology, sociology, psychology, statistics, nutrition, and human development. I know how you feel Sarahnade, but don't loose hope!! Just keep your focus, shoot just because I got everything done does not mean I can feel safe, i'm nervous but never loosing that hope is what keeps me going :)

I mailed them in through USPS Certified Mail.

Don't worry you still have a great chance of getting in and I am also a transfer student too. Plus your science GPA is flawless!!

Hi you guys! I'm at transfer student coming from lone-star college . I'm also applying to PV SON. I have a cumulative gpa of 3.11 and a supported gpa of 3.77. My overall hesi score was a 88%. I turn everything in at the beginning of January so I been playing the waiting game for awhile. I also applied to UTHSC. I'm so glad I found this forum I'm wishing everyone the best of luck!!

Hey everyone! I applied to the program. I have an overall gpa of 3.1 :( but I made a 92 on my hesi with a 96 in math and A&P. Hopefully that will make up for my low gpa. I still have two courses in progress (art history and speech). Good luck to you all! When do you think we will start getting letters?? I am so anxious!!

yes! but they kept saying that everyone is more competitive when they finish all their classes !

which im taking chemistry lab and that's it! so fingers crossed!
