Prairie View A&M Nursing Applicants Spring 2013

I was wondering if anyone is applying for Prairie View A&M Nursing program for Spring 2013. I have seen previous application cycles but none for Spring 2013. If you are applying or previously applied I would love to hear from you.

Hello everyone.. I have also applied for the spring 2013 program. I have taken the Hesi and applied. I received my purple letter and returned it. So now i wait.

@ Saraiish, thanks for the info.. Not to bug you again but in your class, what kinda GPA and HESI scores do your class members have? I'm kinda worried because my HESI scores r far from good.. but i passed all sections..

I turned in all my stuff at the beginning of this month - my hesi was 94 composite and gpa was 3.78 for prereqs - im still taking a computer class tho - they didnt accept my chem lab at first (only one 1 credit hour!! ARGH!) because it was too old (6 yrs) so i had to clep test out of that class - which i passed thank God! - so idk ... i asked mrs anderson to email me if I was missing anything and i havent gotten an email from her yet so I hope everything is there and in order ... deadlines close tommorow >.

Hi guys!

It has been about three weeks since I mailed my application and I have already received a transcript evaluation. Here are my stats:

Cummulative GPA - 3.85

Support area GPA - 3.85

Hesi score - 92%

- math - 94%

- grammar - 96%

- A & P - 88%

- Reading - 84%

I still have 15 credits to complete so I'm taking five classes this semester ; college algebra, statistics of psychology, history 2, philosophy, and computers.

My biggest fear is that i have too many classes to complete but I am a positive thinker - I'm going to accepted if it is my time to be accepted - nothing happens by chance.

So I went up to PV last friday to speak to Ms. A. According to her, the CON doesn't look at the HESI scores unless there are way too many applicants. As far as you passed all the sections with a min of 75 then your good to go.

Such a huge relief.. Anyways today is the deadline, please make sure you turn in everything by the end of the day..

Hi!

I've also applied to pvamu for the spring of 2013, i have received my confirmation from Mrs. A saying that everything is good to go, just wondering yall have any idea of when we are suppose to hear anything? And how they go about informing us!

Thanks for any help, i really can't wait to start nursing school!
