practice teas vs the real teas

i need help! i plan on taking the teas exam in february or march and i just took my first practice test and scored a 62%...i have not finished studying yet i was just so anxious to hurry up and find out where i was at on my test taking and went ahead and took it. im pretty freaked out by how low that is. what was everyone else experience in taking the real test vs the practice test. was the real test harder??

I have the ATI VI book and took both tests A and B. I scored in high 60s on both tests. studied a bit and took them again and scored high 70s. I'm not sure if i just remembered the correct answers or i really knew the material lol. I have the secrets 6th edition that comes with 3 full tests. currently studying that book

I found the practice tests to be easier than the real exam. I also found the practice tests for the science portion to be a lot easier than the real exam

This is for anybody who is saying that the real test is easier then the practice one in my opinion and experience THAT IS WRONG .iam writing this. Excuse I would read these posts for months before my exam thinking ok I'm good and let me tell you the teas 6 is no joke !. I got a 78 on practice tests a and b and on the real one score much much lower . The science section is intense I had taken micro anatomy and physio and received as and bs and still it didn't help . The ati Manuel for the science portion is nothing in depth like the test please make sure you guys study outside books for the physio as the physio is more I. Depth and make sure YOU know Chem there are many Chem questions good luck just wanted to share my experience

thank you for sharing your experience. for some reason the ATI study guide does not cover science and chem section in detail. I have purchased 2 other books and seems to be helping. I also have the V book so i think it helps to use all sources.

On my real exam there were only a few chemistry questions, and none in depth. I have yet to take chemistry and found the chemistry questions to be pretty basic.

I believe it's worth it I was in averaging 58% post test study, then did the review they gave me I got a 64 and a 63 on exams A and B then I studied more and took my TEAS I got a 76. My friend failed and studied with the teas 5 book and the book that tells you how to test some other book. I highly recommend you get the Smart study package it works I had a month to study only I took 18.5 credits in the fall so for one month of studying I'll take my 76. If you have more time study the science alot! I got a 83 in reading same as my practice test but I got a 90.3 in math! 64 in science and 63 in english.
