Practice question expectations?

Does anyone know? I've been doing practice questions for nclex, but I don't have a clue how much I should expect to get in practice in order to pass nclex. I've been doing Kaplan book, getting like 75-80% in chapter quizzes. Anyone know what's the nclex expectation like?

How come no one responds...

Kaplan QBank and QTrainers, they suggest 60% however people in the mid 50s have gone on to pass NCLEX. Not sure about the chapter quizzes in the book, but I think it is a fair assumption that it would be the same. A lot of us did about 100 (or more) questions a day when studying, but some people passed with less.

The actual test expects you to miss half of the questions, however the level of the questions is what determines pass or failure.

Hope that helps.

Thanks for your response! Is the Qbank the one in App Store? How abt Q trainer? Where can I find these?

I paid for the Kaplan program (I know it's expensive) and it came with 7 q trainers, a diagnostic test, a readiness test and about 1500 practice questions in what they call their q bank. There is also a live or online class to attend, quite a few videos and I can't remember what else.

I'm not sure about what app store app you are talking about, never tried that. If you don't want to or ca nnot afford the Kaplan course, then you can try the one week free trial of Hurst. Note, Kaplan is more for strategy and hurst is more for content. Someone posted recently that there is a free trial of Lippincott as well, search the posts if you are interested.

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.

That's great! I'm much more clear now, thanks a lot for your explanation! I guess I should go for Kalan to get more practice. Thanks again :)
