UCSD has a "Family Care Center"; Scripps Mercy Chula Vista has an MBU, but if you need to float, it will either be Level 2 or L&D. Sharp Chula Vista has an MBU, too. I'm not sure about the other hospitals.

Thanks for the info I do level 2 as we also do nursery which includes a few up to 4 level 2 babies. We do float to icn and do only level 2 there. So your info is very helpful.

Theres the Mary Birch hospital for Women, which is next to and affiliated with Sharp Memorial. They arent only for birthin babies, but thats a large percentage of the census. Im also told its one of the best places in the country to pop a kiddo out. One of my classmates is a CNA there.

Specializes in OB, neonatal.

Kaiser is hiring for for their mother/baby unit...try there! I'll be starting there pretty soon & I'm hoping things work out (crossing fingers).
