hello all,
we just had our last final of nursing school earlier this week. I was curious in how long does your school take to post results? last semester, they posted the grades almost instantly. This semester, so far its been 3 days and no results. I don't think thats right to do that. just curious about you. thanks!
Of course, that does not stop most of us from checking the class website q15 minutes from the time class ends until they are posted :)
yeah. this week people were on the site continually checking. i stopped after the 3rd day. someone from last semester said they posted the day after. so something maybe up. even with normal exams, it only took 5 days to post. everyone is paranoid now about what might be going on, including myself. we'll see.
So I read that you just took you last final and was wondering if you had any great advise for me, I just took my med-surg quarter and have a why to go until I get to my final quarter. So any Ideas? Oh and by the way congradulations on all of your accomplishments!!!!
most people tend to fall into the "memorization" trap of things in school. you have to know pathophysiology of the diseases to know what is going on. when you look at signs and symptoms of a certain disease, try to understand why the person is actually having those symptoms. everyone knows the asthma is a breathing disorder, but whats really going on with the lungs and why certain drugs help resolve the issue and others dont for acute attacks.
use nclex review books to test yourself AFTER you have studied and exhausted your studying materials. When you get a question wrong, write it down, look it up and you will never forget it. NCLEX4000 is a good review program for the computer.
i wish you the best of luck.

Our professors try to get them to us by that afternoon. I live an hour from the university and by the time I get home, the grades are in. However, we are just taking our first final for this quarter tomorrow. Hope everyone one does great on their test and happy studying.
