Hi ya everyone, i am in a really jubilant mood this evening, i have been emailing loads of american university's and have had some pleasing replies. Im a Uk Student Nurse, and will be immigrating after i have qualified, once NCLEX, made up hours are completed, e.t.c e.t.c e.t.c,lol I would love love love to become a CRNA, has anybody else completed post graduate training in the U.S, once they have their green card or would like to??? It would be nice to hear of anyone elses experiences....

No I have never heard of anyone so you will be a first and can come back on and let us know what it is like.
Of course I am sure there will be others somewhere

Quite a few have. But you will need to gain experience in the US in an ICU first for at least one year, and if not longer.
Check out the pre-CRNA forum that we have here.
There have many foreign nurses that have become CRNAs in the past here. But please be aware that it is now harder to get into a program than medical school due to the number that want to get in and the number of positions available.
