Is there anyone who has taken edukan classes? Any issues transferring into nursing program? I have to give course description for approval and I went into all the schools in KS that you can choose from and it either doesn't say any lab in description or says "online" which I feel will hinder chances to getting Into program. The person who checks credit transfers from University of Alaska, where I am applying, told me she has accepted University of Phoenix since they are regionally accredited but they are so expensive per class and I'm nervous they will lose accreditation soon as they are up for assessment right now and there's a chance of them being put on probation or "notice" status. She has already said no to Straighterline since they are not an actual institution that is regionally accredited. She recommended U of Phoenix, which was shocking to hear lol Had no clue they were regionally accredited, assumed nationally. Please no negative remarks about doing classes online. We are in the ARMY and I'm not going to get into description what that has done to me trying to become a nurse. I have already had to withdraw from nursing program in Oregon due to our latest PCS to Fairbanks, which has 1 nursing program which opens once a year and accepts 16 students!!!!!!!!! We are only here for 3 years and next years my only shot to get in ;-/ Thanks a bunch!!

Ive had no problems with eduKan transfer, but ive only attended Kansas colleges since. I've also transferred other online courses without difficulty. I dont think it will be a problem since you are getting an online education anyway.

My A & P transferred no problem, the transcript was from Seward County Community College. I can tell you all of my Straighterline courses transferred into Thomas Edison State College without issue either.

Hi, what is it like on the transcript from EDUKAN? For micro, on the transcript, does it include the word ‘lab’? Because their course title does not contain ‘lab’
I honestly cannot remember as it was 8 or 9 years ago, but I did need a lab component in order for it to be accepted. It did have a lab component. You can call and asked them!

Thank you! As long as the transcript specifies a lab, it’s fine I think
