Possible WCCCD Nursing Applicants

I applied for Wayne County Community Nursing program 01/2011. I have yet to hear from the college if accepted or not :crying2:. Has any WCCCD applicants heard back regarding their applications? Everytime I call the Nursing office they tell me letters have not been sent out yet. The stress from waiting is killing me slowly.

I have a 4.0 and scored a 90 in reading 75 in math and 76 overall on the teas.

Well that's a big development. Thanks futurenurse for the effort, It would be nice if we receive them late next week. As to the scores, I'm more concerned with the application itself than the actual scores. But like I said earlier, I applied with a 4.0 GPA 95% on the reading , 79% overall (the natural science was a killer , just unexpected for someone trying to be a nurse)

The last two years have really been a blessing for me in terms of academic progress, so I'm hoping an acceptance will cement what I've been working to achieve. Otherwise Its going to be tough with the current economic situation.

I was told that the letter were sent to corporate on wed the 25th of this month and from there they will be sorted recorded and sent to us. I am guessing by next week we should be happy and laughing or sad and crying. Good luck and please keep us posted if anything new comes up.

Hello future nurses,im a first time poster,and like all of you im waiting this long wait with you for Happy/Sad letters,.. it seems like forever and stalking the mail man is crazy:uhoh3: im so nervous. GOOD LUCK to you all :nurse:

Ok guys this is what's going on. I heard from a reliable resource that cut off point was 77.5 So, calculate all ur points and if u fall above that number you, will most likely receive a happy letter. I calculated mine and my over all points were 93.5. Sharellnicole welcome to our page. Hope to see more posts from u. To all those who will get into the program. It would be a good idea to form a study group. We could all get a book and study ahead for the next couple of months. If anyone is up for such group please feel free to message me. :)
