i wanted to know if it's possible to get a bsn online but i'm not referring to an online rn to bsn articulation program, just from nothing to bsn. i'm too impatient to get an rn then a bsn because that will cost me an extra year and that's an extra year of studying instead of making money and honestly i'm not too fond of studying.
It's offensive to many on this board because of the sheer hell we all had to go through to become a RN. Don't take it personally. Obviously, if you new any better, you would not have asked this question. If you were posting on any other professional board, you would get the same response. Yes, there are various Nursing degrees attained online. The major difference is that these degrees are available to those that are already practicing RN's.
And I still don't think there are any MSN programs that are entirely online - you still have to complete a minimum 500-600 clinical hours in a real hospital even if you arrange it yourself in your hometown. The dnp programs that are entirely online are not designed to expand your clinical practice and it is for already practicing NPs.

I suspect if the OP had gone to a medical BB and asked if there were "nothing to medical degree" completely online course there would be much of the same or worse.

The online nurse educator and nurse administrator programs with which I am familiar also require some practicums, although these are generally not focused on direct care and instead concentrate on teaching or management.
