Possible Dumb Question

There are 2 girls that live a couple of doors down that are avid pot smokers. Police have been to their door several times but never have gotten an answer, except for one time and they never found anything in their apartment, so they haven't been busted.

There are usually 4 strange cars parked on the street so i doubt it's being more than just smoked actually.

The other night i was outside with a few friends and got a couple of whiffs of the second hand smoke from the direction of their house. To the point we had to go inside once it got really bad.

I get random drug tests at work. Been there since March and my "number" has been up 4 times. They hand you the cup and bag right then and there and you go fill it. Great policy and i have no problem with it.

Here's my question, though: If you inhaled the second hand smoke from this stuff, do you get a positive reading from a drug test? Does anyone know?

Hi LPN,

I just wanted to say that I don't think your question is a dumb one. I have been attending a lot of Dave Mathews concerts this summer and although I don't smoke pot, I have been surrounded by pot smokers and was wondering the same thing as my office does random drug testing.

Does anyone know if a urine test measures an amount of Pot in the body or if it just detects that some is present?

I was thinking that if you test positive and it measures only a little bit in your body that that would show that you don't smoke it but have been around it.
