I plan on either going to Saddleback's where I am now, or CSU LB if I get accepted. Never heard of your school, where is it?

cypress community college in cypress! the program is extremely high pressure, high stress. if you do get through it, you really are prepared and ready to work. "they" say hospitals look for cypress grads over bsn degrees but who knows. many drop the program, many of us are so danged unhappy that you constantly see crying students in the halls. it's just too extreme for me. i'll prob keep going until i fail out, but i want to have a back-up plan. i already failed this semester by a competency (wound care) with only 2 weeks left! and i was getting a b in that class with nearly all competencies done. seriously stressful! so they give me one more chance, and then i'm out on my butt. i heard good things about saddleback, but it is way too far for me. lb has a big waiting list unless you go in as a lvn. i don't have the gpa to get into any bsn degrees anyway. good luck to all!

concorde. garden grove. no waiting list. and its accredited. if you apply now and have all your paperwork done by this week you might start in january (or so I've heard from new applicants on their smoke break)

they don't have an RN program though do they? I visited one, but they only had the LVN program.

man.. I wish they had an RN program.. but I don't believe a private 2 year RN school exists in Orange County.

no, they don't have an RN prog (if that's what you're looking for). They are trying to develop one at the moment but no word yet when (or if) it'll be available.
