Hello could anyone with good knowledge of the matter please help me.
I am a filipino nurse presently working in Saudi Arabia with an ongoing immigrant application to USA. As such, I requested NVC to have my medical and consular post here in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
If ever I am done with everything, would that be fine if i will have my exit to USA from here? or do I really need to go back to Philippines, then from there to USA? Are there some issues with this? or I can just go for exit from either country?
Hoping for a reply. Thanks

Doesn't matter where you leave from as long as all your documents and visa are sorted
thanks to you. Because lately i am somewhat having some worries with it. I have in mind that i should really exit from the place where the visa is issued, or from my homeland, Philippines. How is the Immigrant visa being issued sir? is it by stamping in the passport, or it would gonna be in a separate doc/cert/pbook?
I have contacted NVC and the operator told me that my case is ripe, documentarily qualified since jun12,2008...my PD is August 2005. She just told me to wait for little more time and my papers would be forwarded here in Riyadh.
anyway, thanks much for the info. more infos would e gladly appreciated.
There is no requirement that you have to leave from a certain port. As long as you have your visa which is usually stamped into your passport then you can fly in from any port. Not sure why you haven't got your yet seeing as PD has been processing early 2006. Nothing is going to happen now until after Oct as no visas
Thanks. Took me so long to be documentarily qualified, plus i switched from my previous employer to my present one. Good thing NVC granted me with the previous PD which is august 2005. Otherwise my Pd could have been may2007 as my new petition got approved only last may2007.
More thanks.

It is not the Port of Exit that has to do with anything, but the Port of Entry. That should not be changed once the specific port or airport is given to immigration.
You do not have to worry about where you leave from.
