I'm thinking twice about going back for my MSN via Distance Learning. I am finding that the communication is suboptimal and doesn't address some very important questions. It wouldn't be bad if you could reach the folks by phone, but that has been nigh impossible. I do not want to mention any specific schools. Any comments would be welcome.
I'm doing my MSN online also (and already finished my online BSN) and have not had any issues. I rarely call - I use email almost exclusively. Tech support is absolutely the best. Good luck.
It really depends on the institution. I have been taking classes online now for quite some time and the communication between the schools is always different. From what it sounds like though, you may not be happy with this school because they are communicating poorly from the get go. Good Luck!

Thank you. Yes, I am saying that even the email responses are slow in coming and don't address the point. That would be fine, and surely acceptable, as we are all human. But there's no one at the phone line.
And no- there is no student Web site to assist. Yes indeed that would be a big support. May choose to do traditional-
