Hi! I’m starting a thread for Pomona Valley’s new grad program for status updates on applications and interviews! If one already exists please let me know ?

also from previous threads I’ve found it really helpful when people post: if/where they did their preceptorship and what unit they applied to when they’re posting to provide context, so if you feel comfortable, please do!

I applied to LDRP and did my preceptorship in an adult ICU.

Hello, I have just received a call for an interview tomorrow for LRDP. I had a clinical in their ICU units and loved the staff and the environment. Does anyone have an idea of the questions they may ask? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just spoke to one of the recruiters and she said that they are finalizing interviews this week. They will start sending offers within the next two weeks.

Hey! Did she mention will they email us with offers or call? Just so I know what to be on the lookout for?

Hi, no she didn’t. I’m thinking that they might call us since they called for the interview. But just be on the look out for both

When I logged in to look at mine, it shows no application on file. Which I'm not sure is a good sign or a bad sign ?

I had the initial conversation with Rachel from HR regarding which units I would be interested in, certifications, etc., and then a second phone interview with a higher-up in administration. Unfortunately at the time I was still waiting for my ATT and they asked me to let them know when I have my license, which won't be til the first week of September. So I may be ineligible for this cohort. I'm planning on contacting them today to let HR know I at least have my test date. That's where I'm at.

Oh man I’m sorry to hear that! I hope everything works out for you! I’m just kind of bummed because I haven’t been contacted at all and my application still says “submitted.”

Mine also says "submitted" and I haven't heard back, I have tried to update my application with my scheduled NCLEX date and certifications but I am unable to do so. I submitted my application on the last day.

Yeah I tried to do the same! I got my license and another certification but I can’t add anything. I applied on July 8th so it’s already been a month since I submitted it. They would send an email saying I wasn’t selected right? If it says “submitted” then that should mean they’re still looking over our application?

Thank you! It was very frustrating, I submitted my BRN application in late May, paid for Pearson Vue in early June, and just got my ATT last night. Slow as molasses haha...

I hope you hear something soon, too!

OMG! I submitted my BRN application in mid April and they didn’t accept it until the beginning of July! Then I paid for my Pearson VUE that same day and got my ATT within 24 hrs. I took my NCLEX on July 27, I was lucky there was availability because I’m currently in AZ, so I took it here! But this all happened after I submitted my application so I’m just nervous because I just want to know if I got it or not!
