Poll: Where are you applying? What's the name of the program(s) you are applying to?
I'll go first. :)
Sacramento State University - both ASBSN and regular BSN
Univ. of Arizona - ASBSN
Univ. of North Carolina at Chapel Hill - ASBSN
Univ. of Toledo - BSN
:welcome:
Humboldt State (Spring 09) - BSN
College of the Redwoods (Fall 09 - if Humboldt looks like it won't work out) - ASN
Can I say that I hate the requirement (common to most cc's that I've looked at in California) that all prereqs be completed prior to applying? I'll be done with my prereqs for Redwoods after spring semester, but I can't have anything in-progress for Spring to apply in Fall.
Portland, Oregon Area:
Oregon Health Sciences University (BSN: 3 Years)
Linfield College - Portland Campus (Accelerated BSN: 18 months)
Clackamas Community College (ADN: 2 year w/ option for a BSN +1 year)
Mt. Hood Community College (ADN: 2 year w/ option for a BSN +1 year)
Salem, Oregon Area:
Chemeketa Community College (ADN: 2 year)
Most allow some pre requisites to be in progress during the application, but some some courses must be complete before applying. Many give you points for having all pre requisites complete at the time of application.
I'm applying to:
CSU-Pueblo (BSN and ABSN)
Pikes Peak Comm. College (ADN) but the waitlist is 2+ years!
Pueblo Comm. College (ADN) and I haven't taken the NET for that yet.
and my long shot--UCCS (ABSN) but they hate transfer students so I'm not holding my breath.
I'm hoping I get into CSU-Pueblo for Spring of '09 Traditional BSN. The back up is the ABSN in the Summer of '09.
