Polk State College Spring 2021

Hi! The application period is in a few days and I wanted to start a thread to support each other since I couldn’t find one. I am applying for the Spring term; I have 113.7 points. I am hoping that I get accepted.

Well! I got a 70% which leaves me with a score of 100 points even! I figured I should just apply and see what happens. I've got nothing to lose at this point! 

 

As a plan B I was going to do an LPN course and then try transferring into polk that way.

I emailed ----------------------- and she said it seems like there are less applicants for this semester, which should increase the chances of getting in if you have a lower total. 

Does anybody know when orientation is?

Is there a FB page for the Spring 2021 class?

Oh wow! Maybe we all have a chance of getting in. That gives me some hope. Fingers crossed. I don’t know when orientation is. I sent a request like 2 weeks ago for the facebook group but they have not accepted me, so IDK.

So, the application closes tomorrow night. How long after the application closes, do you guys think we'll get decisions?

I know from other threads Its only taken them about 1-2 weeks in the past.

I know applications closed last night, but did anyone get their decision yet??   Kidding, but seriously my anxiety is getting the best of me. I just need to know.

I know some people in the previous semesters found out in a little as a week but I'm mentally prepared to wait two haha.

My question is do they send out an email or paper mail only?
