Hey everyone! The application window for PSC starts on the 2nd, so I figured I'd start a thread to discuss :) Anyone else on here applying?
Yeah, I would think so too because they would need to allow enough time for the letters to be sent through the mail. But, futurern1111 - I have not yet! That is something I will need to be doing in the next month or so. I am also curious as to what we will be discussing in our meeting.
Hi guys! I applied for the Spring 2015 class as well. I am a little bit older and it has been a few years since I was in school so my teas-v score wasn't so great. I got a 76. I think my overall points totaled to 111.8 or something like that. I am a teacher but I am praying to get into nursing school! Is this everyones first time applying? For those of you that have applied before, how long did it take for you to get your acceptance/denial letter?
So nice to talk to some people about this! I'm pretty sure my husband is sick of me talking about it and I am trying to keep the fact that I applied quiet until I hear something. Mostly because most of my friends work with me and I don't want my job to know yet.
Hi allisonjperez! Its nice to meet you :) Iv been checking the mail pretty religiously for the past week. Lol! Lets hope that it comes in soon. My nerves are about to be shot! But you have a wonderful score, and I commend you for going back to school. That's awesome! :)
To the students that are already in the program - One of you stated that our first round of clinicals with AH1 would be assigned based off of a number. Is that number random, first-come-first serve, or by points and do we get this number at our meeting upon acceptance? I was just curious. Also, what hospitals are we allowed to pick from if you remember. :)
I have my provider BLS and ACLS certifications which are good until next year. Do you guys think letters will be in the mail this week or probably more likely next? I tried to talk to the advisor and get more information about the estimated time they would be mailed and how many students actually get excepted but my advisor wasn't very helpful, she wouldn't even tell me my total points. So I don't know if they are using my total "program" gpa from my transcript or just the average of the pre req classes. So need less to say I'm extremely stressed and currently taking a full time class load also.
Hey guys!
So I learned some pretty valuable information today!!! I went and spoke with an adviser at the Winter Haven campus. I had some individual questions that I wanted to ask. But, anyways... for the good news! He told me that letters are going out this week!!!!!! Therefore, I would assume that you will hear something sometime next week, depending on how long it takes to receive your individual letter through the mail.
