Polk State College Fall 2017

Decided to start a thread for Polk State College Fall 2017 nursing hopefuls! I'm hoping we can use this post to share our stats and anxiety during the application process. So, I'll go first. My name is Megan, I have a Bachelors degree from USF. My TEAS score is an 84, overall GPA 3.25, and prerequisite is 3.75. I'm actually retaking the teas to try to get a better score next month. Let you know how that goes. Hoping to hear back from some of you.

Everyone's status should say "N" because you are not admitted to the program, letters have not came out and we have not gone to the meeting to verify that we want to be in the program. The status changes to "Y" once you are accepted and you accept the offer by going to the meeting and paying the fee.

Oh man, my says 'N' I'm really hoping letters go out tomorrow, or monday at the latest. I hate this waiting game lol I don't know how to not think about it.

How many points did you apply with? If you don't mind sharing of course.

I hate waiting too! I'm going crazy! I really hope they come today in the mail. I don't know if I can handle another day.

I wouldn't read too much into it!! I was just going off of what someone said earlier in the thread. I have about 120 points.

I just received my rejection e-mail from the other school I applied to. So now I'm even more nervous about whatever I receive from Polk. UGH, I was never good at waiting lol

Same here, rejected from HCC

I just got rejected at HCC, so depressing. I had a GPA of 3.429 and the cut off waa 3.667. I need polk to pull through for me

If anyone can check their degree audit, by the GRADUATION STATUS MESSAGE, did it say Srudent not admitted into the program. Sorry guys, Im just paranoid now with all this waiting and denials from other school.
