Tablets, Enteric Coating, Sustained Release and Capsules...
Which PO drug form will hit the body quickest?
Any other general information about these forms?
Thanks!

I think it depends if the force behind them is equal when they are thrown.

Not enteric coated, they only digest in an alkaline environment such as the small intestine. They don't digest in the stomach because its highly acidic. Sustained release has multiple layers to allow extended release over longer periods so not them. Tablets and capsules are complicated, depends how they designed it. They both can contain powder while capsules can contain small amounts of liquid. It also depends on the medication, some can cross the blood and or brain gut barrier while some need to be converted by the liver to become viable. I'd say overall that uncoated tabs would be quickest with many exceptions.
Great, thank you!

Hey girl, I know this is not related to the question you asked, but I would recommend not using a picture of yourself as your avatar and also not linking your FB page to your account here. Just my two cents! :)
