Has anyone here recently taken the CPNP exam (through PCNB)? I am in my second year of a primary care PNP program and am trying to find some resources to order that would help me review throughout my studies.
I have looked at both of these, which each have question books to puchase separately. Directly through napnap there is another version of the first that is called Core Curriculum rather than Core Review. Any insight on these??

Hi!
I too am in my second year of my PNP-PC program... I have the Core Curriculum book (it's required) and bought the Core Review book to go with it but I really would've saved my money on it had I known more about its contents; has rationales but often times the content is incorrect so I would probably avoid that one imo. The Core Curriculum book I think will be helpful for my review for boards but not very helpful currently on tests in my Peds courses. I have the orange book PNP review book it was recommended to me by a friend I have reviewed it some and I def. like what I see and it has content similar to my textbook only in outline format which is great for me! Hope this helps.

I just started my last year of my PNP-PC program and just started clinics. I just bought the NAPNAP core review i was told that are teachers use similar questions on our exams and it helps as a study guide.

I used both of those books you linked to as well as the question book that goes along with the orange book. Found all of them really helpful in passing the PNCB exam (passed in June--first attempt!)
