Hello Nursing Community,
I have a predicament about not being able to send in my PNEQ Application to the Florida Board of Nursing. I currently have 3 classes left to finish at my RN program and was interested in taking the NCLEX-PN exam. However, when I spoke with my Dean at my college of nursing she said that she couldn't sign off because they require students to go to lpn school if they fail out of nursing school. Even though this was her rationale I feel that the alleged policy does not apply to my case because I HAVE NOT failed out of nursing school & I just want to sit for the LPN exam. I am currently registered in a public, accredited, state funded college. I have met all the legal requirements, yet I'm being denied. How should I proceed?
