PMHNP program at EKU

Any one out there who is a recent graduate or currently enrolled in EKU online nursing (mental health NP program)? Any insight? How is the professors? Are they really helpful?

Thanks!

Hi! Yes it is all online from my understanding. You will be able to do your clinical hours in your home town. Hope this is helpful. Let me know if you have any other questions I can help you with.

Yes it's all online. For some reason I thought it was only for KY residents but not sure.

I have applied for Spring 2015 admission - just waiting to hear .....

Did you get accepted and start? How do you like the program?

The teachers are very helpful. Just heads up be sure your not moving anytime during the schooling and make sure you can make the time to study. I got behind, moved and have a toddler and my grades suffered at the final of one of the classes. Now I am moving to a state where EKU can't do clinicals and I'm probably out 20k due to this. Not EKU fault its my own. the pace is good, the teacher have been amazing, but life happens.
