I am looking into other job options for PMHNP that offer a unique experiences. I just want to know if there were other opportunities to work as a PMHNP that is not the typical inpatient or outpatient role. TIA

What kinds of things are you interested in? Or what are you hoping to avoid that is common to typical inpatient and outpatient roles? Are you looking for unique setting or unique population or unique treatments?

PMHNPs work in a variety of settings and if you are in an independent practice state you can really carve out a unique niche in this field based on your interests and background skills.

University health centers and LTC. <- these are sort of outpatient but not the traditional community health centers or private practice.
