Just wanted to start a thread, it was really helpful last year while applying (I got waitlisted but wasn't selected). Anyway, it was a great way to keep each other updated with how the process works and when interviews/selections/emails started to come from the school, a nice sounding board for going crazy with impatience waiting, waiting, waiting. I am applying for the 2018 entry into the ELMSN program at PLU and hope to submit my app within a week or two.
Do we know when they're hoping to have let everyone know by? I wish it was socially acceptable to just call and ask lmao
Well I've called too many times but you should call and ask, they don't care, always super nice and helpful. That being said, I was initially told they hope to let everyone know by end of February.
Hi. I received my welcome packet on the 18th. I've been to PLU for my undergraduate and graduate education. It's is an absolutely beautiful campus. The surrounding area is a little questionable but I've always been a commuter student so it wasn't a big deal. Class sizes are small although I know that nursing courses tend to be a bit larger than average. Overall I love the school and would recommend it to anyone.
@smcshane heard anything yet?I did verify they hope to let everyone know by end of feb though. I'm hoping there's still hope....I figure if all the yes' had been sent out, then they would have sent out the wait lists and rejections too....
Yeah that's what I'm hoping too. I haven't heard anything either. I know they do waves and then wait to see who confirms by deadlines and then do waitlists, etc. But you have to think about too that this is really early notification and most of the other programs people are applying too have later notification, so you will still have people turning down spots later.

Has everyone who was accepted received a welcome package yet? I am still waiting for mine. Also - would love to hear from you all about why you applied to this program. I've never visited the campus, so if anyone has any insight, that would be great!
