Anyone applying to PLU this year? I'm also applying to UW in Seattle, will be my 1st time applying to PLU, anyone have any tips or advice? Not sure how the application process for them works.
I'm answering my essay questions, and it asks how your values concur to the mission of PLU school of nursing. I looked at the school catalog and it states The School of Nursing at PLU integrates the liberal arts and professional education, and is committed to three areas of responsibility for nursing education: (1) the preparation of baccalaureate nurse generalists for the roles of provider of direct and indirect care, designer, manager and coordinator of that care, and a member of a profession; (2) graduate preparation of professional nurses for the roles of advanced practitioner, advanced generalist, leader, scholar and as a foundation for doctoral studies; and (3) professional development of nurses through continuing educational opportunities. Is this what everyone else compared their values to? Seems kind of hard to comapre them to, just wanted to make sure I was writing the correct essays! Any help is greatly appreciated. It seems like the school of nursing philosphy would be what they want compared to my own values, but I'm probably wrong on that lol.

They said at the info session that people do apply after the deadline and get accepted. Did you end up getting yours in?
