I called the visascreen dep, and never get valuable answer!!! wait, wait and wait for forever...

CGFNS requires license verification from the country you were graduated. I have had the similiar situation, but in my former country the term "license" does not exist, so I had Ministery of Health sighned on the license verification form.

Good luck

Have you taken CGFNS exam? Have you taken NCLEX exam?

There are many nurses in the US, who are in the same category as you, and they are working here as nurses. Visa Screen doesn't require you to have a license in your country, or the country where you attended school, you just need to submit a letter along with your application stating the reason why.

Have you applied to a state yet for ATT?

Thanks for your valuable reply!Do u use the form REQUEST FOR VALIDATION OF REGISTRATION/LICENSE FOR VISASCREEN of the cgfns to let the Ministery of Health sign? if did, how can him or she fill the form for the license number, license statue, license issued date, etc.?

your info will be helpful because the ministery of health would like to sign something for me to indicate I am eligible for the license.

Thanks for the info! my reason why I didn't take the license is that because I left for USA once I graduate. But I worked as the nurse before I went to school. at that time, license is not mandatory to practice in my country. Do U think the cgfns will recognize and accept my situation?

Yes, I used that form.

Regarding the filling of the form. It depends on where you are hailed from.

I am form the former Soviet Union, so I used my diploma number as a license number, issued date is my diploma issued date etc. It means I related to my diploma as if it were license

Good luck

Which country did you train in? I need more info to be able to give you a more realistic answer.

If you do not have a license in your country, and never sat for an exam, because you left for the US beforehand, then there is nothing for your government to sign. Your completed transcripts from your nursing college should suffice that you completed all appropriate coursework. Unless, you originally trained in Russia or somewhere where there was no exam offered. That is why I am asking for more info.

My original train is in P.R.of China. Is there any problem?

Everything is more dependent upon having the appropriate amount of classes and hours to meet the US requirements, then anything else.

There is nothing for your government to sign, if you never took boards there.

do u thinK if the ministry of the health sign for me and indicate that my diploma will allow me to practice will help?
