Like everyone else awaiting acceptance letters, I am driving myself crazy and I still have another 4 weeks of waiting until I get my letter!!!!! I just want to see what you all think about this, last year the points to get into the Nursing program where I applied ranged from 52 to 68. My points for this year are 56.2, do you think this will get me in???????? Or can the point range jump that much in one year?? Any thoughts are appreciated!!! Oh the wait is terrible!!!!!!!

I don't know much about the point system since our U goes only on gpa. But... I was supposed to get my letter after March 29th but I called the advisor and she gave me the gpa cutoff so I knew if I made it or not. Which I did!!! But, I'd try to call around and see if you can get anywhere. The actual school of nursing wouldn't tell me anything but my advisor emailed me the results.
GOOD LUCK!!
Congrats to you on your acceptance!!!! :balloons: Thanks for the advice, I am going to call my advisor on Monday and see if she can tell me anything!! Hopefully I'll make it in too!!!

Don't let the wait drive you crazy Mimi. What did your advisor say? Have you got you letter yet?

You guys are lucky, my school doesn't give you the exact criteria for applications. They only tell you it is based upon the GPA of your 4 sciences, your overall GPA on all required prereqs., your score on the NET test, and the extra credit seminars you attended. Can you say vague?? We have no idea where we stand and they won't even tell us what GPA scores got in last year!
For your situation, like mine, it all depends on the caliber of students competing against you. There could be 30 people with a 4.0 GPA or there could be 2--you never know, but I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya!
Good luck!!
