Please Read Got My Letter!!!

Pass my boards but the unfortunately it's there!!! Does this mean I won't get my lic... Idk if it has to do with fingerprints I did mine back in 2012 and took my exam on July 2014 could it be!!! Am nervous I won't get my lic... Please comment.

I am not sure I understand. Is there something in your background that is of concern? If you have a positive criminal history, then the seriousness of your past offenses will determine the outcome -- as you are probably aware. It looks like this letter just says they need to review your record. If you have a positive history, that should not come as a surprise to you. If you do not have a positive history, then there is probably some sort of mix-up or misunderstanding that can probably be cleared up.

Ok yeah I don't have a positive record I only had couple of tickets which I payed that's it. Still concern about it!! Thank you

Hello, hopefully you get your approval soon. I am expecting to get the same letter for previous tickets (no DUI). Can you please keep us update on how long it takes to get your approval letter. Thanks

Look at the application. I think tickets over a certain value need to be reported to BVNPT

Edited to add: any traffic violation with a fine >=$300 must be reported to the BVNPT upon application for licensure. Not sure what they do other than ensure you paid outstanding fines

I got my official letter today stating I passed!!! Yah. I was expecting an enforcement letter. But I guess I was ok.

Well I am not for sure myself. But you have broke the law ...like drugs...guns...child /adult abuse in Ohio. A traffic ticket wouldn't stop you from becoming a nurse . Good luck and I hope it all works out for you.

Am so happy got my approval letter today!!!! It only took them one day lol I got my enforcement letter on Saturday got home today from work check the mail and it was there a big envelope from DCA I told my cousin you open it went outside and heard her scream did the happy dance when she told me!!!!????

Thank you. I'm not sure. I'm going toward private, like Unitek College, because I don't want to wait on a waiting like and it's easier for me that way with having 3 young kids. I don't encourage it to everyone, because I feel that hospital do look down on private fast track programs. However, I have talked to several nurse from my old clinical site at San Francisco General Hospital who has went through them and got hired into a good position. I will do my BSN at WGU.
