PLEASE help!

Does anybody know of any PRIVATE SCHOOLS that will accept a student who just got dropped from another nursing program? And not force me to retake all my prerequisites?

I had a 4.9GPA prior to nursing school. I now have a 2.9.

I was told that private schools "want our money" and therefore are more willing to work with students, as opposed to CUNY schools that won't even look at you unless you retake all your pre-reqs and bring your GPA back to at least a 3.8.

Any input would be appreciated!

    The problem is that may school have a problem with accepting people who have been dismissed from a nursing program. In fact all of the nursing program I know in the city have that type of policy.

    Private schools do have lower standards but a lot of them are strict about taking students who were dismissed from another nursing program. You'd have to call the schools and inquire but your transcript will be re-evaluated either way.
