I just passed my nclex last month and I'm planning to endorse my license in a different state but I have a problem because one of the questions in the application asked "have you ever had any application for any certification or professional license refused or denied by any licensing authority?" idk if my application in California is included in this. I didn't push thru my application in California because they want me to go to their universities to finish my lacking subjects... It's there concurrency issues so I decided to apply in a different state. I don't know what to put in that questions. Is my application in California considered as "denied or refused"? Please help me... Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you so much! God bless us!

Well, I'm no expert on this sort of thing, but it seems to me that, if you applied for licensure and they told you you didn't meet their requirements because of the concurrency issue, then, yes, you were "refused or denied."
Even though they didn't say that I was denied? They just say I have to complete my deficiencies in order for me to take the exam. Thanks for the feedback :)

yes...eventhough they may not have specifically used the words "denied" or "refused" your application was rejected because of concurrency/deficiency issues and was therefore "denied" or "refused"...your choice. Either way it needs to be disclosed. There should be an explanation section to provide you a chance to explain the situation (i.e. what the rejection was related to)
Does this one affects my endorsement?
