Please help me interview you, University Paper

Published

Good afternoon everyone,

I need to write a four page paper of my experience interviewing a nurse for this friday the 11th of march, and I am having lots of problems, because I don't know any nurses. I have tried to go to clinics, hospitals and care centers, but I get the same response everywhere, we just don't have time. I do understand that nurses are extremely busy, so I am begging for someone on this website, to please help me if they find a little time, and compassion in their heart.

the questions I need are the following:

What type of educational background does this person have? When did they graduate and from what school of nursing? How long did it take them to get through school from start to finish? What did they do if they had a waiting "time" frame between finishing pre-requisites and start of clinicals?? Do they plan to pursue further education, if yes, what, why, and when? How did they feel their highest educational degree helped them do what they are doing today in health care?

What types of job positions have they held within the nursing field? Select one of their positions (preferably med-surg unit or sometime of hospital floor nursing or long term care nursing where you will learn more info on what you will more likely do instead of say administration) and describe their typical day as a nurse working in that position from the beginning of their shift until the end of their shift? What type of nursing care do they actually provide in these positions? Did they work with other health care providers when caring for patients, if so whom and how?

In their current position (or one held in the past) do they delegate work activities to others? If so, give examples of what type of nursing care they delegated.

What are some of the best parts of their job? Why?

What are some of the most difficult parts of their job? Why?

After graduating from nursing school and starting their nursing career, since graduation, what changes have they witnessed in health care delivery by the nurse?

What do they predict will occur in the profession of nursing within the next 10 years?

What advice do they have for you to succeed in nursing school? Consider study skills (individual and/or group study), how to get ready for a test, how to do better in learning nursing skills, how to think critically, how to manage your time, etc. What do you think will work for you?

THANK YOU!!! GOD bless
