please help I start nursing school in spring.

This may seem like an odd topic but it has been bothering me a lot. I'm 5'6 and balding super rapidly. I have this fear that being ugly as a nurse will hinder my career. I have worked so hard for this and there is nothing I want more than to help others. I just don't want to be treated badly or less. I truly do not suit being bald at all and it makes me look rough as some have said. Is it possible to be a professional like a nurse while being hard to look at ? I'm only 22 years old and I'm set to start nursing school in spring. Will I be left with less deseriable positions as a nurse ? Thank you for the help.

It looks like you are not alone. But equally crazy. (That was a joke, mostly).

Based upon your previous posts, it sounds like you have been through a lot just to get where you are. It is normal to second guess yourself during times of major transitions, but DO NOT let that stop you from moving forward. You have come so far! Take a moment to reflect on that, reward yourself for your hard work, be patient with yourself, and move forward!

Shave it off, keep it moving. How you look doesn't have anything to do with how good of a nurse you will be. Plus there's plenty ugly nurses, doctors, patients, and etc. lol. Confidence is key though. A lot of people you might perceive as beautiful on TV are only like that due to professional make up artist, so don't judge the value of your looks from images you see in movies or commercials.
