Please Help, College Grades and CRNA

hi everyone,

i already have a bachelors degree in biology and also a masters degree. i also have almost 5yrs clinical lab tech experience. but i am now keen to pursue nursing but, have some questions regarding my college grades in undergrad.

here is the problem, although my overall gpa is 3.0/4.0, i failed my chemistry and 2 genetics related courses in college. in fact i got through my chemistry course the 5th time (i just never got really interested and never studied seriously for it, now i kick myself for doing that). if its any consolation, i do have an a in pharmacology.

my masters gpa was 3.75/4.0 and never failed any course work or research for that matter (if there is such a thing in research!).

i am wondering whether any nursing school would consider me for an accelerated second degree bsn with the above fail history in my college days. also, is there any way to prove my capability to pursue an accelerated bsn by taking a college chemistry and genetics course now and getting an a or b in them!? does anyone know about such courses that can be pursued individually online?

my ultimate goal is to become a crna and eventually be an educator at a crna college/uni. however, can someone please tell me whether i would be considered at all by any crna school in the country with the fails grades many years ago in college. is there any way to offset this by perhaps doing well in the accelerated bsn (if i am accepted) or rn course.

thanks a lot for your help.
