a question though... what do you mean exactly by emailing IDPR for IL SSN? what exactly do I do? email them and ask for an SSN!!! I'll die if this is all i have to do for SSN.... :roll

SSN#s are issued by the Federal gov't, they are not state specific. You cannot get one until you have documents that prove that you can legally work in the US.
