When trying your utmost best to help the ones who ask for nclex help be careful, I have turn over kaplan username and password to someone on this forum and they had hacked into my computer, every test I did on kaplan and I suspended it, they interrupted it, and submit it, making me have to start all over again. They even turned over the password and username to alot of people, making it difficult for me to log into the account to do a test.So I changed my password around 15 times, yet the person keep getting my password and logging into my kaplan account. We have such a big heart on this forum to help, but some take our help for granted and even try to go way beyond. I have been a victim and wouldnot like anyone else to be a victim too, it is very depressing, knowing you try to help and this is what they flashed back into your face, I am very afraid for my personal things like credit cards and so that I had used on the computer, now I have purchased anti-trojan and that's how I was able to optain their ip address, the person live in ohio, this is very scary, so to advice everyone in your hour of trying to help be careful, I know what I did to give the password out was not right.

You should probably pm the administrators with the username of whomever has done this to you, they need to know!

Man, some people really take others' kindness for granted. I am sorry that that happened to you

This response may seem harsh: but I think you asked for this problem when you turned over your password and username for Kaplan to another person. There is only one reason they'd need it and that's to avoid paying for it. So in effect, you didn't 'help' someone, you only helped them to do something dishonest and got burned by the same person (isn't there an old saying "there is no honor among thieves?"). Thank you for sharing this and stopping others from doing the same (and no, I do not work for Kaplan! ). I do believe you meant well, but didn't think this one thru!
I know what I did cause this to happen to me, but I was not expecting that, and thought since all of us are trying to be nurses, we have to be in good will and honest, but I guess some are from from that, and may encounter problems with their license getting revoke late, thanks for the reply, no need to slap it in my face, everyone learned by their mistakes thank you, I will look out next time.
let's learn a lesson or two here....not all men are born good...there are some who desire to do evil and just so much happy taking advantage of other people's goodwill....
that's true, and the person still trying to get into my computer, my anti-trojan keeeps popping up when ever they try, they just won't give up, it's so scary, because I had used my credit cards online, and paymy bills online.

please send me the user name of this person.
but also be aware that what you did was illegal. it is in violation of what you signed with kaplan to give the passowrd out to anyone else, it is the same as stealing. i understand that you were trying to help, but you got burned and big time in the end.
for the rest of you, be aware that the company can come back and file charges against you for doing just this. it is considered stealing since the person is taking something for free. the user name and passworfd for any of these types of accounts that you get on-line or not to be shared with anyone, including your best friend.

I am extremely sorry to hear. You are just trying to help because so many people cannot afford the kaplan course. The bad ones only make it worse for persons who legitimitely need help. I think you should PM this "rat" and tell them you'll report them to the police. My grandmother use to say "no good deed goes unpinished." My heart goes out to you, it could have happen to any of us.
