please answer:) thanks!

I am looking for a nurse who has a BSN and working with an aging population to please answer this question for my assignment:

What are the special needs required to care for an aging population?

Thanks:)

What do you think are some of the special needs required? While we at AN are willing to help with homework, we won't simply give you the answers- as a practicing nurse, you will need to know how and where to look up answers to your questions. Tell us what you have so far, where you are stuck, and we can start there.

Thank you for your reply. I can definitely come up with some answers on my own and complete some research on the topic, but I need to fulfill the requirement as an interview from a nurses perspective. Thanks again:)

In that case, take yourself to the nearest skilled nursing facility and ask to make an appointment to speak to the nursing staff development person, who will be thrilled to talk with you!

Part of the point of these is to get out of your comfort zone, be able to have a conversation with a real fellow clinician, and learn to use the resources you have that aren't "hit Send." You don't know who you're talking to on an anonymous forum on the net.
